"DIAMONDS" - RIHANNA (JUDGE REMIX)

Taking a Rihanna classic, this remix by LA producer JUDGE punctuates his version with rhythmic islander beats and obscure trap drums. After releasing a heavy trap remix of "Shoulder Lean" last week, his take on a pop R&B hit encompasses multiple styles of electronic music by accompanying deep bass with a sonic techno sound. An intro with manipulated vocal textures and a spontaneous James Brown vocal sample, JUDGE leads us into an innovative sound design, bringing new ideas to the table.
