POINT OF VIEW INTERVIEW #57

Image
PRODUCER/DJ: WHIPPED CREAM It's festival day, and you and all your friends can't wait to see all your favorite artists in one place despite the hot sun beaming down on your faces. The company you came with made a list of who to see, but since you all arrived early, you head to a stage that seems to be knocking powerful subs and excruciating captivating IDs you probably never heard before. As you look on the festival's itinerary, you discover that its Canadian producer, Caroline Cecil, aka WHIPPED CREAM. A producer who bombards the music scene with tracks that consistently retain an element of surprise where everything she releases is a gift of moxie and heart. WHIPPED CREAM's music brings together a variety of sounds that range from a broad spectrum of genres. She uses heavy bass, experimental bass, trap, hints of drum n bass, and bits of your classic club sounds. Tracks like her Re-Whip version of Rae Sremmurd's "Swang" or her NEST HQ Premiere of "

NEW MARU REMIX

Image
"TAP" - MASAYOSHI IIOMORI (MARU REMIX)An industrial factory possessing heavy machinery clanking and impacting one another, creating waves of rippling shrieks, and roars of deep octaves. Well, Maru's remix of Masayoshi's "TAP" can compare. From the country that rocks the boat in innovative electronic music, this Tokyo native beautifully corrupted a track and ripped it into micro shreds of winding bass and synths. Released on a 3 track remix EP, Maru's version of "TAP" undeniably breached the safe zone and took the levels of the original's experimental dance track to another dimension. Below share and listen to Maru's remix of "TAP"!

EVENT: THE M MACHINE: GLARE THE DJ SETS

Image
THE M MACHINE PRESENTED BY BROWNIES & LEMONADE + GOLDENVOICE
The M Machine have been making moves all around their course of the Glare tour! Making a stop in LA, at The Roxy Theater, this epic duo brought along some of our faves, Madnap and Omniboi, to give us a show that brought out a great response. Paper Crane's Madnap introduced to us not only tracks that represented his artistry but his ability to whip out a few shreds on his guitar. Indeed surprising the crowd, his covers of Porter Robinson to Lil Uzi Vert made it for an unforgettable night. Omniboi then wrapped the evening with his glorious ability to transfix the crowd's attention on his jazzy magnetic piano keys. From his smooth version of "Tokyo Drift" to the clever remix of Migos' "Bad & Boujee," Omniboi always leaves a smile on everyone's face.
The M Machine also brought along a surprise guest, Moving Castle's Manila Killa! Settling in a night full of music, The M Machine gave…

NEW HEADSTONE X VICES COLLAB

Image
"NO STANDING" - HEADSTONE & VICES Released via  Jadū Dala, Aussie producer headstone and Philly/Orlando duo Vices, crank out a heart beating collab titled, "No Standing"! Eerie as the intro, the track's entirety is immersed in bellowing bass and daunting horns. The clashing drum work and arousing chopped vocals build for a bouldering track that is nothing but expected from these two powerful sides! This fruitful piece bleeds elements of trap and classic club beats that are more than ready to be incorporated in your daily dose of songs that wreck the speakers.

Below share and listen to Vices and headstone's "No Standing"!

POINT OF VIEW INTERVIEW #58

Image
PRODUCER/DJ: FOXSKYAre you ready to rave or are you ready to rave? You could describe Californian producer's, Foxsky, music as ambitious rave but in the end, that's not what it is. It's made up of the inspiration from the underground club scene and the journey of finding true self-expression. The colors and energy made by this out of the box artist are some of the most intriguing and amplifying creations you might ever encounter. Inspired by the various musical factors he surrounds himself with, tracks released from major music labels like Mad Decent, Main Course, or just simply his numerous bootlegs and remixes, are each wrapped in chaos and dynamic noise. After just completing his Japan tour, accompanied by TREKKIE TRAX, we were visually presented with a wild single and music video titled, "Stingray." Showing his adventures in the country that geographically and socially inspires its visitors, Foxsky is slowly taking over new territory around the world! Below …

EVENT: RORAX17

Image
RORAX'17 LIVE SHOW X ARTIST SHOWCASE
For the second year in a row, Rora Team, yet again, formulated and threw a show that is one for the books. In the midst of the Anime Expo madness, located in a downtown Los Angeles lofty room, RorAX'17 started the night with a knocking Brackets set, throwing in shifty beats and drumming bass, bringing in the crowd's attention by the minute. Then producer, Folie, shifted things into a melodic mood with his jazzy piano ballads and exquisite originals throughout the entire set. All perfectly in the evening, for a complete four hours straight, the music was seeping through the windows over looking the busy streets and the cheers of the audience echoing throughout the building causing a warning or two. Sets by artists like gupi, Mitomoro, and DJ Clickbait all offered a variety of heavy hyper bass and gripping tracks that left us sweating the begging for more. On the other hand, Omniboi delivered a groovy set composed of older goodies and ne…
