In the spacious Center For The Arts venue in Eagle Rock, local LA artist, Mark Redito, showcased some of his beloved, talented friends! Artists Omniboi, Meishi Smile, TV Blonde (who we, unfortunately, were not able to witness), and Redito himself rotated on the stage for a night of music and most importantly cheers with friends. From Mieshi's raging live set to Mark's groovy reveal of unreleased music, the space echoed with energy from the voices of everyone that evening. Mark Redito & Friends gave LA spark and shed light on bringing a show that warmly greeted people of all kinds together under one roof. If you, unfortunately, missed out on this night, don't fret! HEADACHE Written by: Zebrina Garcia Max reist catapults a colorful new EP titled, headache , into the ears of listeners. Splashing with chimes, bops, rings, acoustic guitar, and rich musical structure, headache is composed of vocals by max himself, as well as a brief feature from his lovely partner Abby, in the cover of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Gimmie Love." The wholesome vibrations and eccentric sound design make the EP standout brightly as max's first official project. Tracks like "stripes" and EP titled track "headache" break through the norms of electronic music. The variety of textures and sounds emulate max as an artist who tears down walls to audibly give listeners a sweet taste of his imagination. "EYEDEE" - XAVI Released on Surreal Recordings , St. Louis producer Xavi molds and builds a thrilling suspenseful track titled, "EYEDEE." The bass crumbles your senses and the synth use breaks the boundaries of bass and electro music. The heavy narrative paired with the chime and ring of beats bringing warning of what your ears will enter into within the next seconds is like being stuck in a never-ending sleep paralysis nightmare.
