"SOMETHING" - SKINTREST (POOLDAD & MAXWELL REMIXES)

Leeds producer, skintrest, pumps out grimey club productions that get your brain in a twist and tangle of daunting sounds and scrupulous beats. After releasing his original "Something," producer friends pooldad and maxwell take a creative swing on the track. Maxwell's remix courses through a haunting translation of this mystic production by colliding meticulous drum work and impacting 808s. Implicating a dynamic arrangement from start to finish, we get to hear a sound that is quite different from maxwell's past productions. It's eerie intro transitions into a creature of warp material offering us a minimalistic work of art. On the other hand, we take a quick turn around as pooldad injects his remix with his own exhilarating sound. This futuristic remix arises from the ground and sends you into an atmosphere of rich synths, completely giving "Something" a new storyline.
