POINT OF VIEW INTERVIEW #9
PHOTOGRAPHER: DEMXX
From architecture to music artists, Demxx can accomplish the
essence of any subject through his lens. The lens is his tool to show people
what the world around him looks like in his perspective. Not only are his
images captivating, but the editorial of each image endorses the subject’s
vital characteristics. From photographing rich landscapes or even the most
bare, Demxx’s artistic energy is represented with every shot he takes. Speaking
of artistic energy, Demxx has been able to photograph some of the most well
known names in the music industry, such as Zedd, Kygo, and Big Sean. Not only
that, but as well as at some major music festivals like Coachella and Hard
Summer. With each image, it is quite apparent Demxx is climbing his way into
becoming an even more accomplished photographer. Keep an eye out for Demxx because
who knows what his next project will be or where it might land him! But if you do
want to get a hint of the inspiration behind his work, check out the interview I

Question
1: What got you into photography?
I
found my love for photography through graphic design. The curiosity of photo
editing was appealing to me and I feel like that was the beginning of a love
story. My very first camera was a Canon t2i and ever since I haven't stopped
learning the vast world of photography.
Question
2: What people intrigue you or inspire you to pursue photography?
First, I was inspired by two of my older friend’s who I met through my
older brother. I'd skate with them from time-to-time when I was 15. Witnessing
them photograph skaters from the local skate parks to setting up their own
photo-booth and roaming coverage at warehouse parties on the weekends was
inspiring. I found myself pursuing music photography at some point in my life.
Five years later, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph some of the most
demanding artists in the Electronic Dance Music industry across the States,
Asia & South America.
Question
3: How would you define your style of work?
Aside
from music photography being my prime, you can also find me shooting people,
nature, commercial, & landscapes. I feel like I would only be limiting
myself as a photographer to be focused in one specific area, and that’s
something i’d hate to do.
Question
4: What do you hope someone will gain out of seeing your photography?
Inspiration.
I hope to inspire any up and coming talent and to not be afraid of their eye
behind the camera & to believe in themselves because I’m a firm believer of
anything being possible.
Question
5: What's your favorite photo(s) you have taken so far?
Here
are my top 5 photos I’ve taken over the past years.

2.
Zedd - True Colors
Tour at Staples Center - Los Angeles, CA
3.

5.

Question
6: How far do you plan on taking your photography? Any specific future plans or
goals?
Wherever
the universe ends? Perhaps? Ideally I'd love to end up shooting artists from
the music industry or even to shoot campaigns for designer brands.
As
for 2016, I’m working on getting back on the road with at least over 5
different artists this year. One step at a time & see where it takes me
from there.
